Witch (Goblin Slayer)
Hey there Folks!
So, This character I’m actually familiar with xD I’ve read the Goblin Slayer manga, at least the first arc and it is quite fun, nothing to write home about, but it is enjoyable in its simplicity (and of course, the more hardcore scenes).
As for the pic itself, this one was a lot of fun! I love drawing Bad-endings in Medieval/fantasy scenarios, and my only regret about this pic is the fact I couldn’t explore the setting a bit more, I would love to make another Goblin Slayer bad-ending but set in a daytime forest or medieval city, it would be quite fun!
for this pic I decided to go with a pretty dark background (the setting is actually a cave) with the only light focused heavily on the main character, the idea is to depict the goblins as a swarm, or horde, that have just “washed” over or heroine like a wave, that’s why most goblins aren’t fully framed, just a mess of hands and teeth attacking the Witch.
Initially I plan on going with much more motion blur and stuff flying around, to give the scene more movement, but in the end I though it could be too much on a scene that is already very chaotic.
I had a lot of fun with this pic and I hope you guys like it! ^^

Amazing as always Sabu. I didn’t know there was a manga about goblins. It sounds pretty cool. Is it in the style of traditional manga?
Thanks man, glad you like the pic! and Yeah, the manga is pretty cool, very simple, the characters don’t even have names, they are just called “Witch” or “Priestess”, etc, but I think this is kind like a homage to the classic RPG classes, etc, its a simple thing, but pretty enjoyable in its violence and exposition. and I don’t really know what you mean, by traditional manga xD
That sounds cool. And by traditional I mean like, the big eyes, black and white pages. Anime style is a better term for it lol.
Oh, then yes, its a traditional manga, BW, big eyes, all the usual aspects ^^
